Oud is the fragrant resin of the agarwood tree, formed only when an Aquilaria tree reacts to a specific mould. Few trees ever produce it, which is why a genuine oud wood perfume is rare and precious. The main source species, Aquilaria malaccensis, is documented by Kew’s Plants of the World Online. That scarcity is why YOUDH Night is built on real distilled oud wood and blended a single drop at a time.

It is a pure oil, with no alcohol. An alcohol-based spray projects hard then fades within a couple of hours as the alcohol evaporates. YOUDH Night is a concentrated oud oil that binds to warm skin and releases slowly, so it lasts around 8 to 10 hours from a single drop.

Both. YOUDH Night is a unisex oud perfume. Oud reacts with each person’s skin chemistry, so the deep, woody, amber profile wears a little differently on everyone. Many customers wear Night in the evenings and the brighter YOUDH Light during the day.

A deep, woody oud scent. The heart is smoky, resinous oud wood, wrapped in warm amber resin, with a softer, slightly sweet dry-down. Sillage is moderate to strong, so it stays present without overwhelming a room. It suits evenings, colder months and occasions.

Apply two to three drops to warm pulse points, the wrists, base of the throat and behind the ears, and press rather than rub so you do not break up the notes. Moisturised skin holds an oud fragrance longer than dry skin. Stored somewhere cool and dark, the oil matures with age.

For many people, yes. Alcohol can dry and irritate reactive skin, while a natural oil avoids that. YOUDH Night is hypoallergenic and pH-balanced for all skin types. A patch test on the wrist is still recommended before first use if you have known sensitivities.
